Tour costing software calculates the cost and selling price of a tour package from its parts — transport, hotels, meals, guides, entrance fees and extras — and turns it into per-person prices for different group sizes and room types. What is tour costing software?

How does TourRova calculate transport cost?

For each day you enter the places visited. TourRova uses Google Maps to get the real driving distance, multiplies it by the per-km rate of the selected vehicle (car, flat-roof van, high-roof van, mini coach or coach) from your transport supplier, and adds driver bata and guide fees per day.

Can I use my own supplier rates?

Yes. Add your transport suppliers with per-km rates for each vehicle type, and your hotels with BB/HB/FB rates for single, double and triple rooms. When you choose a supplier in the costing, the rates fill in automatically. You can still override any line manually.

Does it calculate prices for different group sizes?

Yes. TourRova produces an all-pax rate table for 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 passengers in single, double and triple rooms, so you can quote any group size instantly. Shared costs like the vehicle are divided across passengers automatically.

Are Sri Lankan entrance fees included?

Popular Sri Lankan sites such as Sigiriya, Dambulla, the Temple of the Tooth, Yala and Galle are pre-loaded so you can add them in one click. Fees are editable and you can add your own sites for any country.

Can I send the costing to the customer?

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

Yes, a free Google Maps API key (Maps JavaScript, Places and Directions APIs). TourRova includes a 7-step visual guide and a Test Key button in Settings > Google Maps. Google provides a monthly free usage credit that covers most tour operators.
